VAL'S NEWBIE GUIDE

OK, we've opened the doors to you, and ranked you as "app and register in 24 hours". But what does this mean? What do you do now? I hope to help guide you a little through the first steps you need to take as a member of Angels Haven.

First, you need to fill out the application. Why? This is so we can see the kind of person and player you are. Just as you wouldn't want to be friends with everyone you meet, we don't want to have people in the guild we aren't going to get along with. Look on the left hand side of the screen. See the word Guild? Click that. Then click on Manage, which is at the top. This will bring you to our guild home page. Underneath the guild picture, you will see a website. Click on that, and it will take you to the forum. (Since this will be posted on the forum, I'm going to hope you got this far on your own at least!)

There you will see a title "Want to join Angels Haven?" Click on that title. You will see at the top, "Rules and Expectations for Angels Haven Members" and underneath this you will see "ENTRANCE APPLICATION". You will need to click the application title.

Read the application and follow the instructions. Copy the application, click "new topic", paste the application and fill in the blanks. Take as much space as you need. When you're done, make sure you save it.

To register, click the button that says "Register" on the top of the page, and follow the instructions. You must do both. They are not the same thing.

Once those are done, go and read the rules. You have already? Read them again. These rules are important to our guild, and we will not tolerate rule breakers for long. Read them? Good! Now do it again....slowly and carefully!

Ok, once you have your application done, and have registered, come into the chat and say hello. We like an active chat. If you need help with armor, ask nicely. Remember the rules. If you need buffs, also ask nicely, and what specifically you need. "All buffs" is a big no-no. If you're a newbie, all you really need is doubler, Adept Learner (AL), Librarian (lib), Treasure Hunter (TH) and Merchant (mer). Anything else is up to the individual buffer if they want to use their stamina. Yes, every buff uses stamina that could be used to hunt. We buff you as a favor, and buffing is not something we ever HAVE to do. If you're rude, or don't follow the instructions, you may find yourself having a hard time getting buffs. Always make sure you read someones bio BEFORE you ask them for buffs. Everyone has their own personal rules about it, and breaking them may get you put on their ignore list. And remember, use proper words, 'cn u buff plz' will probably get you ignored, "Can you buff me please with....." is much preferred.

So, now you're almost done, your application is approved, you're registered, equipped and buffed. Now all we need from you is daily activity, burning all your stam whenever its full, and the occasional gold/fsp donation to keep things running.

These are not difficult to do. If you can't do this within the first 24 hours, you obviously have no intentions of staying. One day is more than enough time to fill out a simple application and register.
